At TPS we have a staff of well-trained Olympic Weightlifting coaches including a Russian Master of Sport.

The Olympic lifts are very difficult to master.  When mastered, the lifts look effortless.  Our trained staff of coaches will give you tips, tricks and incredible attention to detail while coaching  each point of the lifts.

We will dissect your technique, note where you are strong and where you need improvement, and then work with you to get your two lift total moving in the right direction.

Speed, power, and explosion and athleticism are needed to master these lifts.  You also need to develop a strong body overall in order to improve.  We will show you f the best ways to increase your overall body strength so that you can translate that new found strength into improving your weights on the competition lifts. Even if you have no desire to ever set foot on a competition platform, learning the Olympic lifts is a great way to get strong and fast. It will help you improve any sport.

TPS has all the right equipment for Olympic lifting that commercial fitness centers don't have, or even allow you to do. We have bumper plates, chalk, proper Olympic lifting bars, and two separate areas for Olympic lifting. Upstairs we have 4 platforms, but you cannot drop weights as we are on the fourth floor. Downstairs we have 2 platforms where drops are allowed. We also have a wide variety of specialized strength training equipment not found anywhere else in the area. Simply put, we are the only place to train.

We offer One-on-One and Group Training.  Stop by the gym and see what we have to offer.  You won’t be disappointed.

Olympic Weightlifting in Everett Mass

Olympic Lifting Group Training:

This is the best way to learn the lifts, with a QUALIFIED coach. Crossfitters, this means you! If you go to a Crossfit and really want to excel at the Olympic Weightlifting portion of the program, get in here! Parents of high school aged athletes, the Olympic lifts are frequently used by well intentioned, yet unqualified coaches and are taught poorly. Give your child every opportunity to excel. Get them in this program.

You do not need to be either of these to join. Anyone interested in learning the lifts or who wants to be STRONGER, FASTER and MORE ATHLETIC should join.

Our program is overseen by TPS's Head Strength Coach, CJ Murphy, a USAW Certified coach and implemented by Dustin Diedrich. Dustin is an outstanding young USAW certified coach who has studied with Dr. Ellyn Robinson. She is one of New England's premiere Olympic lifting instructors.
